1.What is a REM?
Rotaract European Meeting (REM) is a bi-annual conference aimed at promoting international exchange among Rotaractors. Each time, it is hosted by one of the European member countries of ‘Rotaract Europe’ (the European Rotaract Information Centre) MDIO. The REM enables Rotaractors to meet, mingle, exchange ideas, cooperate, brainstorm on projects, and have fun, as well as explore the beauties of the host country.
2, Who is organizing REM?
REM is organized by a local Host Organizing Committee (HOC), nominated by the European Rotaract Information Centre (E.R.I.C.) and acting under its direct guidance and supervision.
3. What is E.R.I.C.?
E.R.I.C. is is a Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO) serving Rotaractors all over Europe. Created in 1988 it now supports 136 districts, in 46 countries reaching more than 20.000 Rotaractors. For more information visit rotaracteurope.eu.
4. Am I eligible to come?
Registration to REM Cyprus is open to all members of the Rotarian family, from Europe and beyond, who attend Rotaract Clubs on a regular basis. When indicated, partners are allowed to register as well.
5. How could I know that I’m registered?
The registration process is completed upon full completion of the online registration form, and after having received an email of confirmation. Your registration will be confirmed when the full payment of registration fee.
6. I did not manage to register for a package. Is there a way to get one?
If you didn’t manage to register for a package you still got a chance to participate. Our packages without accommodation enable you to experience all the day- and evening activities.
7. Do I need a Visa?
Nationals of EU countries do not need a visa and can stay in Cyprus for an unlimited period. For more information, please check the dedicated section on our website ‘Visa Support’ under ‘Discover Cyprus’.
8. How do I register for REM Cyprus 2018?
Yes, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to visit Cyprus! Packages will be releasing in waves on-line on the our website. The first wave will have reduced price. So, get ready to see who is the fastest. The other waves will be sold at the normal prices which is according to the E.R.I.C. bylaws. 9. Can I change the package?
It may be possible to change the package according to availability. Contact us for more details. A change of package may be subjected to administrative costs. Packages are by name and not transferable without approval by the organisation.
10. I would like to stay in the room with a specific person – is it possible?
Yes, you need to provide these details during the registration wave. Subsequent changes will not be accepted.
11. Can I book a single room?
Please note that the available number of single rooms are very limited. Single rooms are more expensive, so you will be charged extra. If you insist of having your own room please contact us.
12. My plans have changed and I cannot come. Can I have the money back?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any refunds. It may be however possible to sell the package to Rotaractors that have not been able to secure the place during the registration waves and are currently within our waiting list.
13. Why was my reservation canceled?
Payment for the reserved package has to be done within one week of the registration; otherwise, the package is being canceled and offered in the next registration wave.
14. When will new packages be available?

15. Why are some packages available again after all have been sold out?
In case the payment for the reserved package was not received within the prerequisite period of time of the registration, the package is offered again at a next wave.
